WebMD
May 2021
WebMD asked me to share a bit of my story, and to describe my recovery. The author, Stephanie Watson, shares a diverse set of recovery stories to remind readers that, as she describes, everyone comes to recovery in their own way, and we all have to define our own path, creating new definitions of success along the way.
Mill Creek Magazine (article on page 6)
July 2021
I’m so grateful for the interview and article about Recovery Career Services by Phillip Caron for Mill Creek Magazine, as well as the great photo of me and my dad. (The link goes to a PDF — the article is on Page 6). Phillip really took the time to learn more about where I’ve been and how I’m trying to use my experiences to help people going through a tough time. Nobody does it alone; recovery requires community, and I’m so proud that I got the chance to share the contribution my father made to my recovery.
Shoreline Area News
September 2021
I’m delighted that Donna Hawkey highlighted National Recovery Month for Shoreline Area News. As she mentions, the pandemic has dramatically increased rates of addiction, and many people are struggling to balance work and kids and school in the face of profound change. She provides links to a number of local resources, and I have provided some additional links on our Resource page.
Recovery can feel like a lonely road — but it doesn’t have to. Reach out. We’ll be here.
